Trained in biochemistry, chemistry and bioinformatics, science, technology and curiosity have been significant drivers in my journey to help companies, people and more specifically patients. After entering into the pharmaceutical world of manufacturing of biologics (mAbs), David brought his skills in informatics, assay development and scientific curiosity and penchant for creation of systematic efficiencies into clinical research in Oncology. Through the years, he has worked on over 140 phase I-IV trials, 16 programs and supported over 7 approvals, including Novartis's first successful CDx.
During a time of embarking upon a novel metastatic breast cancer (MBC) therapeutic, a more personal journey of patient care also began with a beloved family member with stage 4 MBC. This season brought many learnings forward, including highlighting the vast differences between advances being utilized in cutting edge clinical research and the standard and rigid methods being employed in the routine treatment of patients in the clinic.
